El T.E. ASISTIÓ A LA PLANTACIÓN DEL OLMO PROTEGIDO CONTRA LA GRAFIOSIS

El pasado jueves 28 de enero de 2016, asistimos a la plantación de un árbol, cargado de simbolismo para muchos municipios de España, en la plaza del Olmo. Ya que, coincidió que se plantaron estos míticos árboles coincidiendo con la fecha de la primera Constitución democrática, firmada en las Cortes de Cádiz, en 1812. EL Ayuntamiento de Castellnovo se tuvo que poner en contacto, para conseguir este preciado nuevo olmo, protegido, por fin, contra la grafiosis, con los miembros del “Proyecto Life+ Restauración de los olmos ibéricos”, de la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, y con su director, el doctor Luis Alfonso Gil Sánchez, catedrático de la institución, experto biólogo, ingeniero de montes y académico de la Real Academia de Ingeniería, quienes han dedicado sus esfuerzos a investigar olmos resistentes a esta enfermedad que  ha acabado con miles de ejemplares en la Península Ibérica, entre ellos el que no pudo cumplir los dos siglos, de Castellnovo.

Es un ejemplar de olmo común, donado al Ayuntamiento de Castellnovo por la Universidad Politécnica de Madrid y el Ministerio de Agricultura, Alimentación y medio Ambiente. Al amparo del programa de "Mejoras y Conservación de los Olmos Ibéricos". Pertenece al clon "Retiro", resistente a la grafiosis, y procede del parque del Buen Retiro de Madrid.
Con el mejor deseo de que este árbol sea de nuevo una de las mejoras referencias de este municipio de Castellnovo, la Alcaldesa Doña Carmen Gil Sánchez, entre otros, a contribuido a su anhelada plantación.

It is an issue of common elm, donated to the City of Castellnovo from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment. PODA ACCESO PARKING PISCINA MUNICIPAL

Poda de Morera péndula.

En la parte de abajo de la piscina municipal, acceso al parking, hay una zona con amplia vegetación, que está siendo objeto de cuidado por parte del Taller de Empleo Beatriz de Borja II, en concreto por el módulo de Trabajos Forestales. Se trata en este caso, de podar las moreras, hacer clareos en las falsas pimientas, y por supuesto, de limpiar el terreno de rastrojos y malas hierbas, y por último nos ocupamos de su recogida.

CIMENTACIÓN ZANJA DE LA CALLE COSTERA

PODA DE MORERAS EN POLIDEPORTIVO Y PISCINA MUNICIPAL

El módulo de Trabajos  Forestales, perteneciente al taller de Empleo Beatriz de BorjaII, esta vez ha actuado alrededor del Polideportivo y de la Piscina Municipal, con el fin de dar  poda a los árboles de hoja caduca: sobre todo, moreras. Ahora en pleno invierno, es la época adecuada para realizar esta labor, que por una parte da vigor a los árboles, cara a la floración en la  nueva primavera, y por otra evitamos que el lugar se llene de hojas y ramas secas, ya que es una zona de ocio y paseo muy frecuentada  por los habitantes de Castellnovo.

COLOCACIÓN DEL ENSAMBLAJE DE HIERRO EN LA CALLE COSTERA

En el proceso hasta el levantamiento de un muro de bloques de hormigón para la contención de tierras en la calle Costera en su encuentro con la era El Portalet, después de hecha la limpieza, hoy, hemos colocado en los 43 metros de zanja un ensamblaje de hierro, con el fin de conseguir hacer una firme cimentación, para que el muro resista la caída de piedras y la bajada de lluvias.

Después, hemos hecho el atado del zuncho, para la posterior cimentación del muro.

ACTUACIÓN EN LA JARDINERAS ENTORNO AL CASTILLLO

En los bajos de la ladera alrededor del castillo Beatriz de Borja, rodeándolo, hay unas jardineras con plantas propias de la zona mediterránea: romero (Rosmarinus officinalis), espliego o lavanda (Lavandula angustifolia), tomillo (Thimus vulgaris), lentisco (Pistacia lentiscus), que hay que conservar con asiduidad, están abastecidas por riego por gotero, pero hay que librar a estas plantas de la vegetación invasora. Por lo tanto, hemos ido arrancando estas malas hierbas, podando alguno de los arbustos y limpiado convenientemente todo el espacio ajardinado. También, como segunda tarea, hemos trasladado de una jardinera, a la de enfrente, alguna de las plantas, ya que en la primera jardinera (fotos 1,2,3) se va a actuar para realizar reformas.

APERTURA ZANJA DELIMITADORA EN LA CALLE COSTERA

En la calle Costera, detrás del castillo y frente a la era Portalet, el módulo de Restauración  de Patrimonio, tras abrir una zanja una retroexcavadora, de unos 43 metros de longitud, ha limpiado después los restos de escombros y malas hierbas. Todo con el propósito de hacer un muro de1metro aproximadamente de altura, el cual cuando se luzca se procurará que armonice con el castillo. El muro llevará unos puntos de desagüe. La obra se realiza para delimitar correctamente el camino y evitar los desprendimientos de la ladera. Se han colocado unas varillas verticales, de momento, hasta la próxima actuación, para señalizar la hendidura.

ACTUACIÓN EN EL PASEO E INTERIOR DEL CASTILLO

Se han arrancado a lo largo del Paseo del Castillo las malas hierbas, ordenando también las piedras de los muros y ribazos, una vez hecha la limpieza, se han recogido los rastrojos, que la brigada municipal se ha encargado de recoger. Tras este recorrido hemos subido al interior del castillo para desbrozar toda el área; ello se puede apreciar en comparación con las fotos de la anterior intervención.

CURSO BÁSICO DE PREVENCIÓN DE RIESGOS LABORALES

La Técnico en Prevención de Riesgos Laborales, Candelaria Chovares, ha tratado conceptos tanto en cuestiones legales, como preventivas relacionadas con la salud en el mundo laboral, a nivel del trabajador y de empresa. El conocimiento de estas medidas preventivas es fundamental. En el caso de este T. E. se ha impartido una parte común y otra en relación específica con cada uno de los módulos: Trabajos forestales y Restauración de patrimonio. El trabajo y la salud, están reconocidos en la U. E. como derechos de todas las personas, ya que en ocasiones la salud se altera por las condiciones en las que se desarrolla el trabajo. Según la OMS, la salud es un estado de bienestar físico, mental y social completo; y no solamente es la ausencia de enfermedad o daño.

LIMPIEZA DE LA SUBIDA E INTERIOR DEL CASTILLO

Uno de los lugares más emblemáticos del Alto Palancia, está en Castellnovo, es el castillo denominado Beatriz de Borja, que se encuentra situado en la loma de San Cristóbal. Se le atribuye su origen a los romanos, más tarde  hacia el siglo XII los musulmanes lo rediseñaron colocándole fortificaciones de tipo islámico. Y en 1228 lo conquistan las tropas de jaime I. A mediados del XV, cuando perteneció a Beatriz de Borja, se hizo una reforma renacentista en sus bóvedas y arcos apuntados, y una modificación en el recinto exterior, correspondientes a sus defensas.

Los alumnos del Taller de Empleo, en cuanto a los trabajos forestales, han actuado, con el fin de quitar las malas hierbas, acumuladas en el trascurso del tiempo, en la subida e interior del castillo Beatriz de Borja. Todo con el fin de conseguir un acondicionamiento estético del lugar, de cara a que los visitantes disfruten de un paisaje y entorno histórico tan precioso.
